Wray Executive Search is proud to support Giving Kitchen, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping food service workers facing unanticipated crises. This industry-focused organization shows every day that food service workers matter — and when life takes an unexpected turn, they have a trusted place to turn for support.

Giving Kitchen provides emergency financial assistance to workers experiencing challenges such as:

·        Illness or injury

·        Death of an immediate family member

·        House disaster

·        Crises involving a spouse or child prevent a food service worker from work.

Their team of seven certified social work case managers also connect individuals to local resources through their Stability Network, offering access to low- or no-cost services that support long-term well-being.

Since its founding, Giving Kitchen has grown into a nationwide organization, serving food service workers in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Over the past 12 years, they've helped more than 30,000 individuals — and the need continues to grow.  They receive an Ask for Help every 36 minutes and they need your help!

On average, $3,100 may cover up to two months of living expenses for a food service worker in crisis — including rent and utilities. In higher cost-of-living areas, that amount may be even greater.
