Merritt is Asia-based, he recently joined Wray Executive Search bringing international expertise in corporate and franchise restaurant brand growth, also a track record of success with hands-on start up concepts. Holding past EVP, COO & Director level positions, Merritt is an entrepreneurial leader whose experience includes concept creation, strategic growth planning, franchise sales & relations, team management, market development, and operations excellence in multi-cultural environments. He now leverages his contacts, network, and experience to meet your international search needs while also consulting to companies expanding in Asia.

Prior SVP of International Business for Carlson Cos, owners of TGI Friday’s and other brands, Merritt’s tenure focused on Asia expansion, from South Korea, China, and Singapore, to India, New Zealand and Australian. In Asia he was COO of Asia-based Bistro Holdings, developers of Outback Steakhouse & TGI Friday’s in Hong Kong and Manila. Merritt has also created successful new concepts in Asia that today remain great investments for shareholders, with locations in Hong Kong, Taipei and Singapore.

Merritt Croker comes from operations, and with years of practical experience in full service and fast casual chain development, focuses a company’s sustained growth and success on the strength of its management and people. He understands the search needs of U.S. companies growing internationally. Merritt graduated summa cum laude from the College of New Jersey, and pursued graduate work at Syracuse University, where he was also Adjunct Faculty teaching Business Statistics.
